CASE STUDY
Uninterrupted Operations
THE CHALLENGE
Southwest Airlines needed a new roof on a hangar used for daily airplane maintenance. We had to come up with a solution that would not disrupt the operations.
The SCOPE
75,000 SF
of retrofit standing seam roofing
2
hangar re-roofs completed for Southwest Airlines
The outcome
CSM designed a new metal roof system using an engineered retrofit sub frame. This system allowed us to install a new metal roof without having to remove the existing metal roof. Not only does this not expose the inside of the building to weather, but it also allows for additional insulation, provides a safe working platform, and even strengthens the roof.
