CASE STUDY
Coordination
THE CHALLENGE
When PQ Corporation needed to replace the roofing and siding on their Avenel, NJ facility, they wanted a reliable contractor that would meet the unique demands of this project. This facility manufactures food grade additives, so the building could not be exposed to the elements.
The SCOPE
110,000 SF
of single skin metal siding
10,000 SF
of single skin metal roofing including retrofit metal roof system
10,000 SF
of insulated metal siding
The outcome
CSM coordinated daily with the abatement contractor to ensure operations were not disrupted. Rather than doing the demolition of the roof, we designed and supplied a retrofit metal roof system. Not only did this eliminate opening up the roof, but it also provided a safe work platform for installation.
